New Delhi – Jaipur – Jaisalmer – Jodhpur – Udaipur – Munnar – Thekkaddy – Madurai – Trichy – Kumbakonam – Pondy – Mahabalipuram
This tour is a month-long trip through the landscapes of southern India. It begins in New Delhi, heads to Jaisalmer, Jaipur and Udaipur for a 2-day break, then on to Jodhpur for excursions including the famous Amber Fort and Hawa Mahal. Next up are Jain temples at Bhilwara, Udaipur, a camel safari at Nathdwara and a climb up Mount Abu. Then it’s off to Amritsar, Fatehpur Sikri next stop. Afterward, you’ll have three days to explore some of India’s finest lakes before arriving in Munnar or continuing to Kodaikanal where you can see tigers in the wild. The tour ends in Madurai, where you can visit Meenakshi Temple or head to the nearby Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
This tour combines many one-of-a-kind experiences. You will visit Jaipur, the capital of India’s mythical “Pink City”; Jaisalmer, a bustling desert town with an ancient fort; Jodhpur, India’s largest city and third largest in the country; The Kings of Udaipur; Munnar, a lush tea plantation region with snowcapped mountains; Thekkady Hill Wildlife Sanctuary and Madurai - ancient capital of Tamil Nadu.

After breakfast drive to Jaipur, on arrival check in hotel and take rest. Evening visit the Birla temple. Most invite at my home for dinner and experience the cooking of India meals. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast visit the amber fort( enjoy the elephant ride and experience the royalty of Rajasthan cultural), after fort tour, take pictures around Jal Mahal(Water Palace), visit Jantar Mantar, City Palace and Hawa Mahal(Wind Palace). Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Bikaner, en route visit rate temple, on arrival check in hotel and rest. After leisure rest visit the Junagarh fort and evening visit the camel breeding centre. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival check in hotel and take rest, after fresh n up visit Badda wagh & Gaddisar Lake. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast visit the magnificent fort, the Patwon Ki Haveli ( Mansion) and Salim singh Ki Haveli, with their carved balconies and brackets which are supreme examples of the art. Afternoon drive to desert and evening enjoy the camel ride and jeep safari in desert. Overnight at desert camp.
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival check in Hotel and relax. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast visit Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant tharra, Umaid Bhawan Palace & clock tower market. Evening visit Mandore Garden for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. En route visit the Ranakpur jain temple. On arrival check in hotel and take a rest. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast enjoy the Boat ride in Lake Pichhola. Visit the City Palace, Sahelion-ki-bari gardens, the Jagdish temple and the local Museum Overnight in Udaipur
After breakfast drive to airport for flight to Cochin. On arrival assist by driver and direct to hotel.
The morning after breakfast, Transfer to Munnar. Munnar, the picturesque hill station in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make this destination a popular resort town. Munnar is home of Nilgiri Tahrs, an endangered species of wild goat. On arrival, check in to the hotel with rest of the day to spend as you please- either relaxing or exploring tea city. Overnight at the at Hotel in Munnar.
You will be taken for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Sightseeing tour around Munnar takes one to tea gardens where picturesque colonial towns and meandering mountain streams present photo opportunities galore. You will be taken for a visit to Rajamalai where you can watch Nilgiri Tahrs in their natural habitat. You will also be visiting the nearby Mattuppetty Dam, Kundala lake, Exho point, Blossom park. Later scroll at the local market. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. In the Periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India, and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks. Evening enjoy the boating at the Periyar lake(own expense). Overnight at resort in Thekkaddy.
After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Madurai. On arrival check into Hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Madurai– visit Sri Meenakshi Sundereswar Temple, Thirumalanaikar Palace, Thiruppurakundram Temple, Alagar Koil and Gandhi Museum. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Madurai.
After breakfast proceed for a day excursion to Trichy – visit Rockfort Temple, Tiruvanaikkaval Temple, Elakurichi and Vayaloor. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Trichy.
After breakfast checkout hotel, Drive to Kumbakonam and visit Navagraha Temples. Overnight stay at Kumbakonam.
Morning after breakfast proceeds for Pondy. After check-in proceed for sightseeing of Pondicherry– visit Shri.Aurobindo Ashram, Aurovillie, Arikamedu, Pondicherry Beach, Botanical Garden and Bharati Park. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Pondicherry.
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Mahabalipuram. After fresh-n-up time for relaxation. After lunch we will go on city sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram which will include:
Shore Temple: The oldest structure in the area, build c. 700 AD, this temple has been here for more than 1400 years. The area around the temple is now a landscaped park, with guards keeping the hordes of souvenir hawkers at bay.
Five Rathas (Pancha Pandava Rathas): This site contains five Rathas, literally chariots, dating from the 7th century. The sculptures are complemented by some enormous stone animals, including a large elephant.
Evening Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.

Thirukadalmallai: This temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It was also built by Pallava King in order to safeguard the sculptures from the ocean. It is told that after building this temple, the remaining architecture was preserved and was not corroded by sea. Sculpture museum
