Review of: Incredible Rajasthan Tour package
I have just had the most amazing and wonderful introduction to India, taking in Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur and Udaipur, all organised and executed to perfection by Mr Ganpat's Incredible Tour to India.
My friend and I wanted to see all the major sites but also something of the countryside and wildlife and the culture and ordinary lives of local people. As two ladies travelling together we also wanted to feel safe and secure and not to have to waste precious time trying to sort out transport and hotels between places. Having researched many other tour packages for the Golden Triangle, we were clear we wanted a slower pace and some flexibility to change as we went along as needed. Ganpat helped us put together a varied and interesting itinerary at a very reasonable price.
As many other reviewers have reported, we had an overwhelmingly positive experience from start to finish. Ganpat's mantra is "Guest is God" and his service reflects this, it was professional, polite, extremely well organised and he was always on hand by WhatsApp or phone to check all ok and to resolve any problems.
Our driver was Ravindra Singh, who despite his limited English, went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed; he was a very safe and competent driver, amazingly calm and patient no matter what chaos was on the roads. He really looked after us, such as in Udaipur where the streets were too narrow for his car to get to the haveli, he rang the hotel to get them to send a tuk tuk to meet us so the driver would know where to go and then rang the hotel to check we had arrived safely.
Our hotels were all great and we had guides at all the major sites. As others have mentioned, we did find the guides really tiresome when it came to taking us to "outlets" we didn't want to go to and some would not take no for an answer. This is probably outside Ganpat's control so visitors should be forewarned to be very assertive in declining these extras as they do eat into your time to see the sights. We also had several impromptu experiences that you won't get on your bog standard tour package, such as the chance to meet Ganpat's charming family at his home and to pop into a local school to see what the children were learning.
Overall then, I would not hesitate to recommend Incredible Tour to India to anyone wanting to book a tour to India and would definitely use them again if I return. I have had the most wonderful trip of my life and will treasure the memories. Thank you Ganpat and Ravindra.
